Groups
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds – Hebrews 10:24
We have groups set up inside our church to help you grow deeper in your relationship with God. These include Bible Study groups, Men’s and Women’s groups, Youth and Young Adult groups, Prayer groups, Craft groups, and Music groups, to name a few!
Serving
Serve one another humbly in love – Galatians 5:13
As a community of believers we have received the wonderful gift of salvation from Jesus Christ, and now in turn we serve and love others just as He did. Our church is made up of people who serve in a multitude of ministries and missional activities, and we’d love you to join us
nrucKIDS
Our children’s ministry, nrucKIDS, serves children birth through to grade 6, and meets every Sunday during the morning service. The goal of our children’s ministry is to teach all of our children that their identity is rooted in Christ, that they have access to the Holy Spirit, that their Father in heaven gives good gifts, and that Jesus is for everyone.
Youth and Young Adults
Our Youth and Young Adults ministry is focused on partnering with parents to equip teenagers and young adults to be disciples of Jesus by clearly communicating the gospel, creating an environment of worship, and connecting teens to community in the church. Our goal is create true disciples of Jesus by supporting an authentic relationship with Christ.
Mission
Our community is involved in local mission work, such as:
- North Ringwood Care, providing emergency food relief
- Winter Shelter, providing overnight accomodation for the homeless
- 31 Wonga Rd, providing a relief house for those in need
- Beach Mission
- Kid’s Hope Mentoring in schools
Internationally, we have members of our congregation who have done (or are still doing) mission work in Vanuatu, Kenya, Colombia, Thailand, Burma, and many more!
Education
We run education nights, enabling people to encounter the Christian faith through studying the Scriptures, to find meaning for their own lives, to commit themselves to discipleship and equip them to make a difference. At NRUC, Christian education is viewed as a continuous life journey encouraging everyone to grow deeper in their relationships with God, their families, friends and neighbours.
Baptism / Confirmation
At North Ringwood Uniting Church, we will baptize those who confess the Christian faith, and children who are presented for baptism and for whose instruction and nourishment in the faith the Church takes responsibility.
Prayer
We believe that when people pray, things happen. At North Ringwood Uniting Church, we long to be a people of prayer who are consistently practicing it and growing in it.
If you would like someone to pray for you, please Contact Us and we’ll be in touch
Giving
At North Ringwood Uniting Church, we celebrate the opportunity to give back a potion of what God gives us. As a result, giving provides important resources needed to execute our ministry plans to see our communities changed one life change story at a time.
